![]() ![]() I understand that if sales are bad for this game it may not be the result of piracy. I'm not saying go buy the game right away. Give them a chance and I bet you'll see their next Souls game - if there is one - appear on PC from the get-go. That they're unskilled at PC is no reason to throw this all in their faces. ![]() From Software has shown gamers plenty of respect already by creating such a tough, fair, intense title - and then agreeing to port it for fans. And every single penny I spend will be more than worth it, graphics and frame-rate be damned.Īnd it will be worth it to you if you're a PC gamer who hasn't been able to play this yet - so long as you don't mind dying a few times. I've purchased Dark Souls twice already for consoles, and if for some reason I don't get a review code for the PC version, I'll buy it again. And any developer that gives me hundreds of hours of gameplay, some of the best combat ever included in a video game, and one of the most interesting fantasy worlds of any RPG out there, can yes please take my money. But I play lots of games that have sub-par graphics and love them so long as their gameplay is good. ![]() It won't be the prettiest game out there, no doubt about it. Having this title available on PC is going to be awesome. It's not perfect, but it's very nearly perfect. It never holds your hand, but it doesn't punish you unfairly either. I don't really like the term "hardcore" very much, but if any game deserves that label it's Dark Souls. This is a game that takes gaming and gamers seriously. No developer that has put together such a high quality game with literally hundreds of hours of gameplay (once you figure in multiplayer and NG+) deserves to be accused of laziness. ![]() Saying that it's lazy or deserves to be pirated is simply irresponsible. ![]()
